Dr. Won Kyung (Christina) Kim
Dr. Kim is a Board certified Periodontist who values learning as a lifelong journey. As a Periodontist, Dr. Kim’s utmost goal is to save natural teeth as much as possible. Dental implants are also an option in missing spaces to give proper aesthetic and function. Periodontal procedures she performs include gum graft, extraction, bone graft, dental implant placement, sinus lift, crown lengthening, distal wedge, osseous/open flap surgeries, guided tissue regeneration, gingivectomy, exposure of unerupted teeth, frenectomy, and biopsy.
Dr. Kim spent her childhood in Seoul, South Korea. She then travelled to different parts of the world since the age of sixteen. After completing her studies at Bethlehem College (high school) in New Zealand and Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia, she received Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. After dental school, she completed Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Southcove Community Health Center in Boston. Dr. Kim was fascinated by how gum heals after treatments, so she entered and completed periodontal residency at Tufts University. Dr. Kim also made trips to Australia, Fiji, Germany, Austria, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Mongolia, Thailand, and Haiti. She appreciates and enjoys different cultures. Dr. Kim currently works in several different private practices and also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she enjoys teaching dental students.
Dr. Kim is compassionate, friendly, caring, gentle, and easy to approach. She enjoys making friends with new patients and she makes them feel comfortable in a dental chair. Dr. Kim is a mother of two active girls who keep her busy. She likes to spend time with her family and enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding, ice-skating, and skiing.

Julie, Dental Hygenist
Julie graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from MCPHS University in 2014. Her experience as a student in the Forsyth accelerated dental hygiene program was “definitely challenging, but the most rewarding decision she’s ever made”. She is passionate about her career and her favorite thing about the field is that she is always learning.
Julie’s main priority is that her patients feel comfortable and at ease in her chair. To her, that is what being a good healthcare professional is all about. In her 7+ years of experience, Julie has worked with patients from all walks of life. She’s seen patients of all age groups, including children and geriatrics. In her free time, she enjoys going for walks with her dog Lola, spending time with her big Italian family, and reading as many mystery novels as she can.
Alyssa, Dental Assistant
Alyssa completed dental assisting program at Shawsheen Tech High School. She enjoys working as a dental assistant and has been working at Burlington Smiles Dental since 2019. She hopes to become a dental hygienist and is currently taking classes at Middlesex Community College to further her dental career.
Ashley, Patient Coordinator
Ashley is the voice of our practice. She manages many different administrative tasks including scheduling and insurances. With friendly and kind manner, she will do her best to ensure your’ positive experiences at Burlington Smiles Dental.
