Dr. Won Kyung (Christina) Kim
Dr. Christina Kim was born and raised in South Korea, but she has been to different parts of the world since the age of sixteen. After completing high school in New Zealand and College in Vancouver, Canada, she received Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kim made trips to Australia, Fiji, Germany, Arab Emirates, Yemen, Mongolia, Thailand, and Haiti. She appreciates and enjoys different cultures. Dr. Kim is a Board certified Periodontist who values learning as a lifetime journey. After dental school, she completed General Dentistry residency at the Southcove Community Health Center in Boston. Dr. Kim was fascinated by how gum heals after treatments, so she entered and completed periodontal residency at Tufts University. Dr. Kim currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she enjoys teaching dental students. Dr. Kim is compassionate, friendly, caring, gentle, and easy to approach. She enjoys forming relationships with new patients and she makes them feel comfortable in a dental chair. Dr. Kim is a mother of two active girls who keep her busy. She likes to spend time with her family and she also enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding, ice-skating, and snowboarding.
